When you send out a mailshot, for example, to landlords, they may send a reply email back to you but it may not be obvious to you which email address that reply email will be sent to.
The control site has been set up to check your list of contacts and it will decide from the contacts you've set up which will receive replies, in the following way:
- If a Mailshot Contact has been defined under Assign As, mailshot replies will go by default to the email address of that contact.
- If a Mailshot Contact hasn't been set up, mailshot replies will be sent to the email address of a contact that has been defined as Website landlord contact under Assign As.
- If neither a Mailshot Contact nor a Website landlord contact has been set up, the email address of the Standard contact will be the recipient by default.
You can set up your contacts by going to System Settings:
... and then clicking on University Settings:
You can set up a new contact by clicking on 'Add new contact'.
The email address in the Email field (see below) will be the recipient of mailshot replies depending on which contacts have been set up and which option is selected under the Assign As drop down.
You can move from one set of contact details to another by clicking on each of the contacts under 'List' on the right side of the Contacts panel (see below):
