How can landlords quickly switch between Studentpad sites?

 Landlords can quickly switch between Studentpad control sites. Please find below some instructions below for landlords to be able to set this up.

 

1.    Firstly, once a landlord has created an account on two or more different Studentpad sites, they will need to make sure they both share the same log-in email address. To do this make they will need to log in separately to both accounts and do the following, go to My Settings:

2.    Click on My Account Settings:

3.    Under General tab Access section, enter the email address you want to use for logging in:

4.    When you they have entered their email address, click on Save Changes:

5.    Next, log out of the control site. To do this, click on the little man icon in the top right-hand corner:

6. Click on the ‘Logout of your account’ link that appears in the red box:

7. You must then close down the browser window completely by clicking in the top right-hand corner of your screen

 

8. When you have successfully logged out and closed your browser, re-launch the browser by clicking on this link below which will take you to the main log in page: 

https://control.studentpad.com

From the log in screen you should see similar to this box in the screenshot below. 

Click the green Forgotten Password link and enter your email address in order to receive an email containing a password reset link. This must be the email address that you use on all of your Studentpad landlord accounts.

Re-setting the password will change the password for all your landlord accounts that have your email address registered to them.

  

9. Once you’ve reset your password, go to https://control.studentpad.com  and log in by entering your email address and the new password you’ve just created and tick remember me before pressing the login button.  

Once logged in you can then quickly switch between your accounts using the quick switcher icon shown here:

 

When you click on the icon it will show a list of all of the Studentpad sites you’re registered with and you can click on whichever you wish to view.   

10. It is advisable to save/ bookmark this main login page and always use this address https://control.studentpad.com to view the linked accounts, as any other address may only allow access to that university account.
